Hello! I have a grevillea tree just outside my big windows here in Sydney and it attracts Rainbow Lorikeets. And also Rosellas, and Australian Miners. The miners like to bully other birds off their patch, but the lorries couldn't care less about them. I watch Rainbow lorries through the windows all the time and it is like having a giant aviary just outside. I am a photographer, and the lorries have given me a photo idea. My question is, do you, or do you know anyone in Sydney with a tame Rainbow Lorikeet whose plumage is in great or perfect condition. I have an idea for a particular close up photo that would look great I think. I'd have to come over to take it and I'd be happy to make up a beautiful A4 print of it for you. Please PM me. Thanks very much! Barry Update: Yeah, it's driving me nuts. There are are rainbow lorikeets everywhere here. They land on the grevillea blossoms outside the window three feet in front of my face. They mock me with their presence and proximity. I can see exactly the photo I want to get of one of them, and its driving me nuts not being able to do it. Also, if I don't succeed here, do you have any advice as to where else I should enquire? Attachments:
