i photograped these the other day at our local dam , they look like some sort of tern but a long way from the coast , not great pics they were a fair way away and cropped heavily , red beak and red legs
we are 8 hours inland in cobar nsw , hot as hell out this way but they seem to be thriving , there are at least 10 out here that i can see
it looks like an artic tern but i dont think they would be out this way
can someone shed some light , ill try to get closer pictures that are clearer but they dont land near us
