We have a female lorikeet and a couple of years ago bought another for company, and luckily it was a male. The female has laid two eggs - but despite having a nest log in the cage, she laid the eggs on the floor of the cage. They hatched yesterday; do I leave them on the floor, or should I put them in a container, transfer them to a nest log? The adults have not been seen with the babies to date, but we are not watching them all the time.
