Hi all, I have an existing aviary (approx 3m x 3m x 4m tall) at a family property that is a home away from home and is visited pretty irregularly. There is usually someone there at least 2-3 times per week but not likely to be someone there everyday. It originally housed a lonely cockatoo who had to be re-homed so now I am looking at filling it with multiple smaller parrots, (eg. conures, ringnecks, cockatiels ect) So please if anyone has any advice in regards to which birds and how many I could house together that would still thrive without everyday attention, but would not be afraid of human interaction, I would greatly appreciate it. Also any recommendations on diet, breeding (mostly how to avoid it), accessories/toys and anything else that's important to know, would be appreciated. I would also like to ask whether mice would be a major issue as the aviary is outdoor and frequented by mice.
Thank you in advance for your time!! Chloe.
