So I currently have 6 finches, and a cockatiel. Since I currently live in an apartment it’s fine but I’m going to be moving into a house this year and I was contemplating getting my teil a friend. He isn’t phased by the finches and wants nothing to do with them besides their food. I’ve attenpted a play date with my neighbors’s teils But he tried to tear their feathers out on multipule occasions so we stopped that. He isn’t exactly bored but I feel like he might want a friend eventually- for when I’m not home during the day. ( And my finches are getting up there in years)I was thinking another tiel but was skeptical, I often take him into the bird store to socialize with other birds. He isn’t a fan of slightly smaller ones, or children or cats lol. (Fine with dogs tho) anyhow... my mom commented on getting a bigger bird- maybe an African grey or something. I didn’t know if it were smart to maybe get a bigger bird with him or not or just another tiel... suggestions are welcome! Lol I’ve been ready on different cases with others online but yeah... still thinking.
