I have a pair of gouldian finches sitting on three young chicks at the moment.
Both birds were taking turns sitting on the eggs, however I haven’t seen the male for about a week, i think he may be dead in the nest with the chicks! I am unable to get a good look into the nest.
Should I just leave them be, or interfere?
They are in a woven nest in a cage largish cage with eight other finches.
