hi this is harry he is approx 1 yr old and i have had him for about 3 month he came out of an avery with other gahlahs and cockatoos and he had this small lump on his foot pad at first i was asumeing it was a burrowing mite and ordered some ivermectrin online for him but the lump has grown quite rapidly over a 4-6 week period when i noticed it growing i started painting it twice a day with paraffin liquid and seems to have slowed it down alot but i can not see any to much improvementat all over approx 4 weeks the scales on his foot around the area are protuding outwards and almost take on a spikey aperance as the title states i am not sure if this is bumble foot or burrowing mite i have been reeding about bumble foot also but i cant see or find any sord of scaby plug so im unsure and have taken some photos and hopefully someone may know or provide some input im hoping ican treat this at home as i rely cant afford a vet at the moment on the off note he is a very atention demanding bird and is very anxious not confident at all... but inproveing it hasnt taken long to tame him he loves his scratches and will come to you when directed with your finger and seems to lern a new trick every week but turn your head for amoment and last ime i lost some keys off my laptop lol he is great with my girlfreind to Attachments:
