I have saved it as a "sticky" I think it should be always available to people especially newbies. It doesn't go into great detail, but it is pretty accurate. My alex's do love to be with us but not openly affectionate......but they definetly love to sit with us. Takoda has been known to lick my cheeks and give me tongue kisses (his tongue not mine) but pins and fluffs if I dare try to touch him The ekkie one is so true too, but I think the females have been known to be a little more than nippy and bitey at times. I have heard quite a few breeders tell me their females are downright aggressive.

I notice you us the term "parakeet", presumably for your two budgies. Are you by any chance from North America? In Australia we mostly use Budgie while in North America the common usage is Parakeet. To use the Forum it is simply a matter of deciding which Board is best suitable for your post if it is a new subject rather than replying to a previous thread. For instance there is a Board called "Introductions" that would be a good place to tell us about your birds - with photos always welcome as well. And if you had a question about your Budgies then there is a Board for Budgies. Look forward to hearing more about your birds and yourself, cheers, Mike
