does anyone out there sex there young alexes.........this is getting sooo fusterating, i cant find anyone who does!!!!!! i just want a young male!!!!!!

Hi Laviniaf ;D There are only 2 ways to sex a young Alex with any gauruntee's . DNA sexing from blood on a largish feather or surgical sexing...I recommend DNA sexing...far less stress on the bird Sorry, I dont know anyone with young Galah's at the moment  |

Hi, where are you from? I am ringing a guy today who lives 2 hours away from me and he dna's his alex's before selling them. I too would like a male, so I am going to talk to him today and probably take a drive down there in the next couple of weeks to check out his birds. I want to check out his birds before I buy one.

I am picking up my little man on Friday. His dna certificate came back yesterday and he is a boy and he has a sister. He is 9 weeks old. The breeder has 2 more about 4 weeks old that will be dna'd also. If you would like his phone number (I asked him and he said it is ok to give to you) then I can give it to you privately. PM me and I will give it to you. He lives in Bundaberg Qld. I live about 2 hours N/W of there.
