I need to find a brilliant home for this girl!
Long story short - I have a male who was a bad feather plucker when I first got him. I finally had him back to almost perfect feather when I thought he might like a girlfriend and he has started plucking again. He obviously prefers the human to feathered company (he also prefers being in a small cage at the back door rather than an aviary and toys freak him out - strange bird!!).
Anyway - we are here for the little female - not Jack.
She is about 1 year old - red as red eyes (I know thats not always a definate way to sex them - but helps)! She is very active and loves to destroy branches and play with toys. She has obviously been aviary bred and not hand reared but I think she appears to be happier with feathered company rather than human.
I am only asking what I paid for her which was $70 and Perth area only please - no shipping. I am in the Mandurah area however will be in Leeming on Sunday if thats more convenient.
If I can't find a home for her by the end of this weekend then I will be looking into bird/wildlife parks for her as she really needs to be in the company of other galahs. If anyone can suggest any here in Perth that would be great!
