update on angel

Hi everyone angel is becoming a little sweet heart loves the head sratches begs for them all the time.Only problem is she is becoming a one person bird i have to make her go to someone else. My sister trys to take her off my shoulder and she just flys away. She will only allow me to handle her unless i force her to go on my mum or dad.Another thing is i still can't get her to eat veggies or apple so i have now given up on trying. she loves cuttlebone and the seed treats i hang in the cage. Can some one give me a good recipe for birds that i can hang in her cage something that will give her the calcium and nutriences she needs since she won't eat vegies or apples.She is starting to look more like a cockatiel now lol her crest is growing every day now. I just hope that she doesn't get too jealous when the sun conure arrives.Well thats about it for now bye everyone.
p.s i just weighed her she weighs 80grams she has put on 4 grams in 2 weeks.

Dont give up on giving her the veges..it is just a meter of time,that she will try them..Have you try to have her dish near you...and you eat them as wel...tell her how good they are...lol but it does work..

Bread for the birds

1 cup plain corn meal
1 taespoon baking powder
1 egg shell as well
1/2 cup (no sugar0 applesauce
1/2 pasteurized apple juice
1/3 cup frozen peas and corn, thawed
1/3 cup grated carrots
1/3 cup cooked rice
1/3 cup seed



Preheat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients well and pour in 8 x 8 greased pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
