early squawking

everyday at about 8:30 onwards my two cockatielss start squarking and dont stop until i bring them in or play with them and its starting to give me bad headaches in the mornings because they never shut up but it has only started happening a few weeks ago, how do i keep them quiet?

mine start at sunrise, they'd start earlier but I cover most of their cages. The ones in the aviaries are quieter being redrumps and Scarlets but some mornings I'm woken up to the sound of my beautiful boy Awnan's (pale headed rosella) voice. Beats those dirty indian minah birds on my window sills!!!

hi mine start as soon as it even looks like getting light even if i pull the blinds it dosnet trick them and all i hear is alfie saying "whos a pretty boy" or " helloooo"

My canaries do that, the chirp that says in bird talk 'can we go out now?'

I think it a part of being owned by birds. If they are up and awake they deem it time for us to be as well.
They always want their food on time and if you are late you sure know about it ;D ;D

My tiels wolf whistle me whenever I go outside. Plus I have the added challenge of the telephone. My handraised hen especially responds to the sound of the phone as she knows if it rings we come and answer it. I am still amazed that she didn't work out how to imiate it. But of course now she has taught all the others to make as much noise as possible when the phone rings. So it makes it quite a challenge to talk on the phone.
