Is there a "complete" list of food a cockatile can eat? Either on the web or in a book?
I Would like a list to "mix" the diet up and also to know what is bad for Buddy (that is my bird's name).
And is there any Vitamin supplements out there that will help?

Hi Hardcorp, Try www.birdsnways.com and follow the link's to the information you want I use a multi-vitamin supplement called Soluvet, it's available at most Vet's and can be used in the water or in powder form on the food. Hope this helps....Cheers Tony

Hi Hardcorp, there is also another web page I like to go to as it has some very intersting articles about food. I have a all natural diet for my birds. Spouted seeds first, any fruit you can get a tiel to eat, veggies & then seeds. I also give them a good grainy bread like nine grains but mine prefer helga's. I also make air dried popcorn & rice bubbles & I also include nuts & seeds as part of the diet as well. But in saying that I have quite a few birds to feed. Tiels can be very fussy eaters at times but if you start them young they seem to accept new foods easier. I have 2 baby tiels here that just love chilles, seeds & all. Well enough of my prattle here is the link. Cheers Anna www.holisticbirds.com/Hbn02/autumn02/pages/foodpp.htm
