For the past month I have been looking after a very sick Cockatiel ....in fact he all most died on me but this little birds constitution is what I would call beyond amazing, I have never in all my years of breeding birds seen the will to live so strong. In being sick he dropped so much in weight that he looked skin and bone but now he is putting the meat back on...... but the question I have is......what is the correct weight for a 2 year old aviary tiel and whats the best way to weigh the little worm

hello deb i believe that tiels should weigh between 110 and 160 g as far as weighing him if you have a small box you can place him in (small being so he doesn't get to spooked and can hurt himself ) weigh the box first and reset your scales to 0000 then put him in side hope this helps regards bill
