Hi Tony, I had a similar problem with a h/reared tiel that I did for a friend. It was eating fine when I gave it to him like spouted seeds, veggies, seeds etc but basically stopped eating after that. It would only eat seed when they hand fed it with seed out of the cage but wouldn't eat anything inside the cage. I had to take it back & retrain it to eat seed by itself & basically be a bit tuff with it with not letting it out every time it saw me. Sometimes with h/reared tiels, I believe they pine for their owners & go through what I would call separation anxiety & refusing to eat & if this tiel was fine when you put it in the aviary & is now not eating it sounds like what this little fellow is going through & doesn't want to be separated from you. However, I would recommend that you take it to an avian vet if you can to get a health check to make sure that there is no other reason behind it not eating. Cheers Anna
