Hi there I just got a baby teil it is 9 1/2 wks old it seems to have one blocked nostril I was just wondering how to unblock it .Thankyou shell

I would take it to an avian vet and not try to unblock it my self. Can you tell what is blocking it?

Im not sure I think it could be food from when it was being fed by it mum Thanks for your reply I will see if I can find one on monday

If thats all it is you could try removing it with a damp cloth but don't under any circumstances probe the nostril with anything , you could also try and scratch the material off very gently with your finger nail after dampening the area, once again, with a damp cloth.

The only avian vets I know of are at Austral and Canley Heights. Let me know if you need the addresses.

thanks john but it is ok i put some small drops of water on the blockage and it loosened it up and everything is ok thanks for your help it was appreciated
