Since removing mirrors in cage my bird chews b&w newspaper of cage lining, leaving hundreds of chewed little balls . This I believe is OK so I'm told. However I have found these tiny pieces floating in her water. I am wondering if she has regurgitated these? Now I am a little worried. Please what do people think?

Hi Nette, yep some of my tiels & ringnecks were doing this but in the end I decided to take the paper away. No matter how safe they say newspapers are dyes are dyes & the thought of them chewing it & maybe digesting some of it, well yuck, plus it was making their drinking water black. Your choice though whether to use it or not as the do like to rip it to shreds & seem to have lots of fun with it. Cheers Anna
