I have to say that it will be a pleasure to chill the bottle of bubbly Bill. It's been a bumpy road at times but we are going to get there. Can you believe it's almost Christmas this will be my second Christmas with out my Mum and we still miss her but it is also my first Christmas with all my new friends here at AussieBirds ;D and I couldnt think of a better bunch of friends to have. My Christmas day will be spent with family as it usually is if it's a fine day we will have a BBQ and lots of laughs and a few beers. I hope you all have a happy and a wonderfull Christmas and new year and may we all grow stronger and have lots more new friends here at AussieBirds. John

Congrats John on the Big 100 ;D ........members that is......but then again you did mention some where "old man" so you have me thinking ........narrrr bet ya younger than me Well for christmas we all get together for a BBQ, we usually have two, one for my side of the family and one for mikes, last christmas we had it all together and we had to hire the scout hall LOL and on christmas day all the birds get presents as well, you should see them tear open their presents there like silly kids, I think they get more fun out of chewing the paper than the toys with-in This afternoon we are starting to put up our christmas lights...well making a start as it usually takes two days to do it.....and yes we are one of those silly families that has lights all over our house. Our friends little boy said yesterday are we not having lights this year as every time they drive by they have to stop and gander at the pretties So to all my friends here at Aussiebirds I would like to wish Seasons Greetings and to once again Congratulate John for getting a good thing started

Hope you have all had a wonderful day! I have just come home from Christmas Dinner at my parents place! We are all so full we can hardly move so I figured I would sit in front of the computer and not move for a while!LOL The kids are worn out so the 2 year old has crashed out and the older girls are playing with their new toys! Finally after the hectic pace of the last few weeks I have some 'time out'!! Almost forgot what it was like! It is certainly the best Christmas pressie I could have asked for....oh along with the new computer chair I got!LOL Jo-Anne

Merry christmas to everyone - sorry its a bit late, I just got back from holidays in the southwest of WA - very nice down there at this time of year!
Hope you and your birds all had a fantastic weekend. Mine were a bit hot, but got spoilt with sprinkler baths and extra fresh branches.
