I have two pairs (plus others) of peachfaced lovebirds, and they're just starting to collect nesting material, and take it into the nestboxes. It's getting so exciting! This is my first time for the lovies!! ;D They are all so cute doing all the little chewing actions and passing the chewed banana fronds from him to her, and then into the nestbox. With one pair, he goes in every now and then, and then she comes over, and he knows to move or get pushed aside. lol And yes, Jeremy, one of the hens in Jade. I introduced her nestbox last week, and they are busy making a nest. She's almost ten months old. I've been watching the four of them many times a day (from a respectable distance ) and it is so facinating seeing their realtionships and trust in each other grow!

Thanks Anna. They sure are wonderful to have. I'm very happy with the way things are developing. Even if it takes a few months to actually get babies, it's very nice to just stop, sit, and watch them going through the preparation stage.
