I'm with you Tracey, I know very little about love birds, therefor I have no idea what makes this one "unusual". It is a gorgeous looking bird tho!!!

This bird is actually green so the blue underside is what makes him unusual They class birds like this "Multicolour" (nice one wilsta ) and of course the blue has been introduced in previous breeding but not for this outcome.

wow look at the yellow feathers in amongst the blue ones. Very unusual. Can this be caused by a vitamin deficency?? I know with some ekkies that mis marking like those can be either too many vitamins, or not enough, or from eating too many pellets (which usually causes an over abundance of preservatives, or vitamins or something).
Very pretty though.

Hope my response is appropiate. Some people love breeding mutations.Others love breeding the pure normals or as close as possible. best Robert and Angel

I've breed the parents many times but this is the only one that shows yellow. I've been told it could have been caused by Kindey or Liver problems? or a lack of Vitiam A but this little bird is as healthy as they come. Be interesting to see how or if he breeds. PARENTS
