Tamara and I simply raise babies for pure sweetness (we have normals and mutations.) We recently got a very rare mutation that shocked the lovebird world: a medium creamino (think of a ino with black on her beak!) But I was more amazed on how sweet she (Joy) was. Her and her brother (Love) got adopted by a wonderful family. Lutino your birds are very beautiful and lucky to be owned by you. ~Rodney

Look what I picked up at a local bird shop, can you believe it. I had to look twice when I saw her sitting on the perch, "how much for the unusual Fischer?" I said. "$38" she replied. "I'll take it!!!!!"

Diet related, medical problem and red or orange suffusion have been mentioned. I know nothing of the birds breeding history so that doesn't help but I do know it's outstanding to look at, especially for any lovebird fanatics. ;D

if it is diet related then there is a very good chance when it moults it will return to "normal" (for want of a better word) colouring.
