Robert would you be able to buy one from a pet shop here but maybe for the size of cockatiel?? I know lovebirds are little smaller but ......... would they be able to be adjusted to fit??? Maybe in the bigger cities they might have access to some for budgies and lovies??

You don't need to buy one from out of australia! I received mine yesterday! I got it from thevetshed.com.au!! I don't know how to put it on though! ;D Any ideas how I could hold my bird down firmly?

you may need two people to do it Bikitrainer until he gets used to it and you get used to how to put it on.

Yeah my little sister is helping me. She holds Bicki (that way she gets all the bites hehe) and I put it on. We've had some successful attempts but Bicki just gets crazy. So we take it off. We do it occasionally and he's starting to get used to it.
Oh I can't wait to take him out on the oval for flight training!

Good to see bickitrainer, that your lovie is hopefully getting used to the harness. As stated in the first link above, even if the Flight Suit,Harness fit on the Lovie, there is the added difficulty of whether it is escape proof. More so with the smaller birds, when they are frightened, they react with flight or fright.Far more than the bigger birds, they are more likely to become a meal for the predator birds. Flight from fear is a protection mechanism. Also Lovies are so entilligent, that they can escape from cages,if that is not prevented in the first place. Therefore important that the harness etc is escape proof. from Robert and Hope

Lol! I don't bother closing the latch on Bicki's cage, he doesn't even know how to push the door open. Bicki is smart at tricks but not with opening doors. His cage is inside so it doesn't matter anyway.
