i have decided to get both of them at the same time it just depends if the indian ringneck will be aviable in june. I know the sun conure will be i will be ringing up the pet shop and asking them some time today they will ring the breeder and ask them if they will be. Now the question is it a good idea to get both birds the same time?. I'm going to get males will they get along. I will still have to hand feed the sun conure once a day so it bonds with me and i bond with him. Not sure if i have to do this with the indian ringneck or not. thanks for the help its much appreciated.
ps i rang the pet shop up there won't be any aviable around june so i will have to wait until spring.Julie said she will ring him and see but she said there probably won't be any.

Hi, You will not be able to get the blue ringneck in June. Ringnecks dont start working the nest till them. They start laying eggs about July, August and they are about 9-10weeks when they are ready to sell, I would be looking at about September, October for a baby ringneck. That would be still fine because the sun Conure would be still young. I find getting two birds of the same sex is a good idea because they will not bond together as partners.
