hey guys, when approx from when the males starting feeing the females do they lay? mine r doing this for the past week or so ;D Anna, they LOVED the rice and veges yay! thanks for the info  Rach |

from what i have been led to belive the male can feed the female for several weeks priour to copulation

Hi Rach, that is great news that they will eat the rice & veggies. I rekon you will be able to introduce lots of other soft foods like sprouted seed etc if & when they have babies. Most birds that don't eat this kind of food will just about eat anything to feed hungry babies, so keeping my fingers crossed that you will have babies soon. I am opening up my nest box for my ringies, next week, so I too am keeping my fingers crossed that they will breed for me this year. By the way I managed to get a happy hut for my pet ringie on ebay, but he hasn't ventured inside yet. Cheers Anna
