I have a pair of blue ringnecks, male split to yellow-4 yrs, female blue- 3 yrs. I have been 'feeding them up' for the last month and just put their nestbox in. I'm hoping to get blues, yellows and albinos out of them and can't wait!! This is my first year of breeding and I'm just hoping everything goes to plan!

Will keep my fingers crossed for you Dee, hope all goes well. A friend of mine who breeds ringnecks suggested to put a piece of wood in their box so that they can chew that rather than the nest box . My pair have been scratching around in the nest box for the last 2 weeks, so I am leaving them be at the moment & not going into the aviary. I have also been advised to put a good layer of moist nesting material in as ringnecks can sit very tight on the babies & this can cause splayed legs in the babies. Anyway fingers crossed that you will have lots of lovely babies. Cheers Anna
