Hello Janine, first of all welcome to AussieBirds an d welcome to the wonderful world of birds. It sounds like you have a nice ring neck there and I am sure one of our very knowledgeable members will be only too happy to advise you on the pairing. Is there any chance of a picture of your bird, we love pictures here.

I agree with the pastel silver or silver, then you get all the cinnamon lines as well as the pastel cinnamon lines, if you don't mind some standard colours then even a grey split cinnamon cock bird would be good, My dad has that combination and gets green, blue, grey, grey green, cinnamon, silver, skyblue and golden olive as well as the splits.

Yes, that is a Skyblue. All Cinnamon birds (Silver, Skyblue, Cinnamon, Golden Olive) have brown toenails and plum coloured eyes, although, it is hard to tell whther they have plum eyes or not without a torch.

actually I think you are both right to a certain extent, the toenails are clear but also slightly brownish or skin coloured, well my cinnamon and silver's are anyway, so I guess Jeremy was refering to the flesh colour as brown but it is a very light see through kind of brown

I am handraising a few Silvers at the moment and their toenails are a light brown/grey colour.
I have also observed my Pastel Blue's have dark nails and pink feet whereas the normal Blues have dark nails and grey feet?

The cinnamon kind of removes the black colouring which is why they don't get black toenails, also if you look at the silver the black pigment is lacking and instead of black flights the have brownish ones like coffe has been spilled on them, als I read the first post wrong I thought you meant cinnamon split blue not blue cinnamon (aka skyblue) so from a silver you will get only silver and skyblue not all for colours as mentioned, a freind has her skyblue hen with a green split blue split cinnamon cock and gets all 4 base colours as well as all 4 cinnamon colours and the splits.
