hey... im new here ...
anyway.. i was wondering how loud Alexandrine
are, are they around the same loudness as ringnecks or louder>?
i hav had ringnecks before and hte noise was okay... it didnt cause any problems.

Ringnecks are a lot louder than Alexandrines.

I have found my birds (alex's and an ekkie) are loud occassionally, mainly in the morning and some afternoons, but not normally constantly. When the ekkie decides to ring like a phone for hours on end can be a bit annoying ...........my neighbours have said they thought my phone was running hot on those days. LOL

Shrekie (female alexandrine) usually likes to scream first thing in the morning, but I cover her now at night and do not uncover her before 8.30am.............that way all neighbours should be awake by then (and if not then they need to be woken up anyway. LOL) But my other female alexandrine was not noisy at all.
