no they cannot eat too much fruit or veges as long as you have seed in with them also.

They are both stunning. The lutino reminds me of my Sunshine who I still miss, she was a special one.

So Jules how come you were allowed an IRN if you can't get a conure? Or did WA have IRNs already and then stop importing or something?

We're allowed IRNs but the only conures we're allowed are suns, jandays and maybe one other which I can't think of atm. We can't have quakers either or african greys.

seems a strange division, when I read on your others posts about not being allowed gccs I thought it was all imported parrots. I guess the authorities work in mysterious ways

Me neither. The main one they talk about being a pest over here is the rainbow lorikeet. Unfortunately for us who want all these lovely birds our climate and environment are perfect for many species to colonize if enough escape or are let out, then they are threats to our natives as their nests and food sources are taken by the 'invaders'. Here's a link to a pdf document listing what we can and cant import into WA. Click on 'Importing and keeping Introduced Mammals, Birds........... www.agric.wa.gov.au/vertebratePests.htm
