Just wondering if anyone has any toys that are durable and continue to be exciting? My Alex loves wooden toys but destroys them in about 10 minutes flat. Then she gets bored. I need some good toy ideas! Thanks

Alex's love to chew on things and the saying goes "a destroyed toy is a loved toy" lol. Try to get the wooden toys with big wooden things on it and leather stuff on it too. I bought some toys from Big W a while back and Takoda made splinters out of them in mins .......... I couldn't believe it. Clean unpoisoned gum branches or bottle brush/grevillia branches too. Gum nuts, pine cones (some pet shops sell them) I have a tree that has large gum nuts on it and I pick them for the birds sometimes.

I know what you mean. I spent quite a few dollars on my big guys with there toys, and they lasted all of a week I think, so I might have alook on ebay for some heavy stuff.

Yeah bird kong is one kind. There's several different kinds of toys that you can hide treats in.

you can also get just plain popping corn and put some into a paperbag and pop it in the micro wave oven ...... let it cool for a bit then put it into his cage ...... my birds love this as it is a "surprise" sometimes I put sultanas and nuts and dry pasta in it too.
they love to rip into the bag for the treats.
