I had 4 zebbies fledge over the weekend. 1 ended up floating in the water dish. I thought he was dead. I fished him out, and just from the warmth of my hands, he moved a little. he wasnt strong enough to return to the aviary, and just by luck, i have two tiels i am hand rearing at the moment. In with them he went to warm up, and at their feed time, I got the little battler to take a feed. He is still a bit in shock, but he has taken to his new older and much bigger brothers quite happily, climbing in underneath them for warmth. And they are not bothered by the little zebbie at all. Another amazing example of amazing birds....
