need help with canaries

hello all
i am after any information on hand feeding canaries as my wifes pair have kicked there babie out so i am trying to keep it alife so any info would be great

What sort of information are you after.If it is diet..they will be ok with any parrot handraising food...Treat as you would when hand rasing a parrot...or how to feed. Just drip or dab the food into the canary's beak like the parents do and the chick will swallow it on its own. Let the chick swallow and breathe between each mouthful.

My uncle used to breed canaries and he always fed them egg & bisciut.
