They sleep at the back of the aviary behind some hollowed logs, I didn't realise they had eggs..I went to feed the birds yesterday morning and the dog was sniffing something that looked like a baby mouse, I got closer and it was a baby quail, he was out of the aviary running around, he shot back in as I got closer..I couldn't believe how tiny and fast they are..I was late for work of course because I had to seal off the aviary so they couldn't escape again..I praised the living life out of the dog for not eating him, there excellent mouse catchers, will kill a wild bird if they can catch them..they must have known they belonged...There so cute.

So cute and so tiny ;D ;D,you wouldnt believe they can fit through the bird wire. I found the best method of keeping them in is shade cloth around the bottom of the aviary.
