My male canary appears to be molting again??? I found heaps of feathers in his cage again?? Can the heat be doing this?? I really miss his singing

no they are in separate cages for a couple of weeks now. She layed some eggs, I let her sit for about 3 or 4 weeks then removed the eggs and nest and then took her out of the cage to try to encourage Songa to sing again............nothing.........and this morning there are heaps of feathers again like he is molting.........all my other birds are molting too except Quasi the IRN

Mine are Tracey, I wouldn't worry about it, the weather is so all over the place at the moment the birds are bound to get confused.

come to think of it tracey my male WF pied tiel is molting well im not sure if he is full on molting but there is alot of his white feathers all over the aviary.

They moult alot Tracey, help him by giving him something like moulting aid or a supplement of vitamins and minerals in his water. It does take a lot out of them and some canaries have been known to not sing for months after the moult!
