They are a lovely bird,Lyrebird.While they don't sing as well as canaries,their song has more variety.

Had the Goldfinches for a while without success some years ago. Then one died, at the same time I had in the avairy uneven numbers of canaries. Yes I did wind up with a beatiful hybrid. He had a great voice, not as good as the best canaries, but better than some. He died of old age just a couple of years ago. Think the only problem with breeding them is the sexing. Apart from that just treat them like canaries. No health problems with mine.
