I especially liked "They are Major cuddle-bugs,and love nothing better than to sit together on a perch and preen each other". Would be lovely to see a photo of this,or to see it in person.Double Bars are not alone in behaving like this among finches.Good to see it with other finches,too. from Robert and angel

so far I have hearse gorgeous little birds called double bars, bicheno's and owls, wonder how many more names they have lol.
all I know about them is that she who must be obeyed has them on her must have list

I've got a very large feral population of Double Bars here, I've had to buy bird netting to protect my birds' food as the DB's would eat it all!
