Gee how about we all put in and buy some LOL What a bargain. Just check on the internet as I have noticed some states seem to have different prices too for birds.

Yea you poor city slickers don't have the advantages we country bumpkins do. We have a thing called the "Pig & Calf Sale" here every week & that is where she bought them. We know the people who bred them so we'll probably go & get some more ;D ;D

I've been paying $20 per bird, but they are the normal variety. I bought a birthday card the other day and it had about 5 different coloured gouldians on it, very pretty! That colour sounds nice Dennise, have you got a pic? Reckon your daughter can get me a pair or 2?

Sorry Karen.I went to the Calf sale yesterday & spoke to the bloke who owned them but he said that were last ones he had. I guess we will have to find somewhere else. 2 weeks ago they were selling normals for about 25 - 28 each. I got a Kak split to pied for $32 yesterday so I was very happy about that. I am posting a photo of them
