on checking the nests yesterday I was pleasantly surprised to find 3 baby orange breasts, never seen anything so tiny though, fingers crossed egg #4 hatches as well.
firefinch babies are alive and doing well, seems to be 3 or 4 this time around, got 2 little females last time.
bengalese eggs were no good when candled nor were the st helenas, planing to buy another pair of st helenas when possible.
gouldians are sitting on 5 eggs now, dad wont let anyone else near the nest even flies at me when I get to close, mum doesnt care though she stays on the eggs watching me like a hawk lol

Glad to hear of your successes with the African Finches - what are you using for live food?
cheers
