I have given my plum head finches to my parents, they have helped us a lot with the wedding so we decided to give them our little finches as a thank you.
Anyway, with all that is going on they haven't had time to check the nests that are in the aviary, Dad has been splitting the aviary into two sections and moving some of the birds, while doing this he found one of the nests has three chicks in it and it turns out that it is the plum heads. The chicks are fully feathered, so we are hoping that we haven't disturbed them too much.
