my gouldian's quit sitting 3 days ago when I candled the eggs they were all clear , maybe next time. the societies though do have babies in the nest, dont know how many as they have made it impossible to see the orange breasts are at it again and so are the emblemas, so I'm keeping well away from the nests. quail are acting like machine guns again, but as I dont want them to breed for a while I am removing their eggs as I find them

Tracey, my quail are fed a mix of pellets and finch mix plus any greens that the finches get the quail also are given same applies for live food. anything that the finches drop is quickly eaten by the quail. I love putting a few crickets into the aviary as it is so funny watching the quail chase them.
found a second painted finch (emblema picta) nest today with four eggs in it
