hi who ever can answer this:)
i have a pair of cinamon pied tiels and was told ages ago thats they can throw white babies how can this be if they are cinamon pieds
??
and if they are white babies can they have the black eyes or will the eyes be red?

if there is no orange patch on the cheeks then thay are whitface
if thay are whitface then the male has to be split lutino for them to have albino babies
the true albino babie will have white down and red eyes

i have seen an all white tiel thay are not a true albino the diffence being thay have black eyes
so maybe

i just got the shock of my life one has opened his eyes and he is a red eye sooo excited does this mean they will be true whites ;D

Without seeing them for myself i can not give you a %100 garantee but if it has white down and red eyes
i would say yes
It will be a lution whitface(albino)

As Bill said Vicky a chick born with white down and red eyes is a Whiteface Lutino(some call these Albino which is technicaly incorrect) In your case as both parents are whiteface cinn pieds if they do produce an Albino it will be a hen and its genetic description would read Whitefaced Lutino Cinnamon Pied.Please do not confuse youself with the color of your chicks eyes as Cinnamon produce Plum clored eyes.Sometimes a Whitefaced Lutino is also a pied and these are distinguishable by a super clear red eyes.Also to Bill I have totally white clear pieds with Black eyes, with Plum colored eyes and dull red eyes.These birds are Whitefaced Pieds Whitefaced Cinnamon Pieds and Whitefaced Platinum Pieds cheers Frank  |
