Unfortunately, there isn't a great deal of thing that are suited to a Blue Pied Cock. Unless you want to breed something that would take you 2 seasos to achieve. Probably another Blue Pied or a Green/Blue Pied But if you would like to get something nice, it would be a good idea to put him with a Blue/Lutino Platinum Hen. Then take a Blue/Platinum/Lutino/Pied Cock and mate it to a Blue Pied Hen to get some nice birds including Platium Albino's But if you don't want to wait 2 seasons, then your best bet would be to get another Blue Pied or Green/Blue Pied hen John, in order to get Albino you need the Cock to be carrying Lutino either visually or split

since i am only young an just starting out i was thinking of splitting up the 3 pairs and forming the following 3 pairs
1 pair possibly a Cinnamon Opaline cock with the Silver Hen The Second Pair a Blue Pied Cock with Cinnamon Pied Hen The Third Pair would be a Blue Opaline Hen with another cock
what colours would i get and should i change them in any way and what could i get with the Blue Opaline Hen so they should breed by August

Cinnamon Opaline Cock x Blue Cinnamon Opaline hen: =Cinnamon Opaline/Blue Cocks =Cinnamon Opaline/Blue Hens
Blue Pied Cock x Cinnamon Pied Hen: =Green Pied/Blue/Cinnamon Cocks =Green Pied/Blue Hens
I would try and get a Blue Platinum Opaline Cock for your Blue Opaline hen, that way you would get: =Blue Opaline/Platinum Cocks =Blue Platinum Opaline hens

Gee all this still confuses me to!! I have a pair of opalines so I know I will get opalines that is if the parents arent split to something I dont know about? Havent bred from the yet, and only had them a little while. The lady I bought them from was as brilliant as me when it came to the genetics of it all,LOL! The second pair I have are normal so I am pretty right there to,LOL I Have a spare opaline cock and am planning on putting a blue pied hen, what would I get there??

Opaline Cock x Cinnamon Blue Opaline hen =Opaline/Cinnamon/Blue Cocks =Opaline/Blue Hens
Your Cock would be a Normal/Platinum/Blue/Pied. If you put him with a Blue Pied Hen you get: =Normal/Blue/Pied Cocks =Normal/Blue/Pied/Platinum Cocks =Pied/Blue Cocks =Pied/Blue/Platinum Cocks =Blue/Pied Cocks =Blue/Pied/Platinum Cocks =Blue Pied Cocks =Blue Pied/Platinum Cocks
=Normal/Blue/Pied Hens =Platinum/Blue/Pied Hens =Pied/Blue Hens =Platinum Pied/Blue Hens =Blue/Pied Hens =Blue Platinum/Pied Hens =Blue Pied Hens =Blue Platinum Pied Hens

jeremy, one thing that got wrong before is that since platinum and lutino are sexed linked, hens can't carry these colours as a split. and bazzinator, i don't think that you find a blue platinum opaline cock for sale, there's not to many of these around yet, maybe next season. you would be able to get blue/op/plat, or blue opaline/plat or something along these line. or for something different you could get a grey-green cock bird that is split to blue and anything else, or any dark factor bird. if you would like any help aquireing one of these birds or with the genetic's then sent me a pm, and we'll talk, ryan

it was on the 6th post down on the second page. you said blue/lutino platinum. now you can't get a hen like that, and you can't get a lutino platinum hen either. i'm not saying that you don't know what your talking about, i'm just trying to make sure that people who are new to genetic's don't get confussed.
