yeah I work at a pet shop, good one (i think) though. I saw another petshop with an indian ringneck to be sold in a budgie cage...grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! If i am selling a bird and a cage and they dont want to take the proper sized cage i refuse to sell it. The thing that annoys me though is when you tell a customer exactly what the bird is going to be like, sun conure for example, they are beautiful, friendly sweet and clownish BUT they are loud, noisy and not just occasionally, it's most of the time, DO NOT buy this bird if you have complaining neighbours etc. "no thats ok we can tolerate noise"...two days later....."its too noisy"...GRRRRRRRR!!!! sorry i am kinda going the other way on theis topic i know cos i am working on the other side...you dont know how awesome it is when someone comes in that has actually researched the bird they want.....Thank you caring customers out there

I haven't been into Courtneys shop............yet...........but there will come a time for sure! At least I know the knowledge there would be helpful. We have been into many petshops in our time and they are all different. Sometimes I like to ask questions just to see what their answer is. I'm not saying I'm right, but if it is something that I do know about and they give me a strange answer, then I don't ask anymore questions. You usually know in the first ten minutes of entering a store if they know what they are on about.
I've been to Mikes, and I have to say, we have travelled from Sydney to Cairns and visited many along the way and the service at Mikes (which was before I even knew about him on this site) was outstanding. There should be more like that!

What it's booked out! But I only got the reg form last night via e-mail. I was going to talk to my friend today about going... arghhhhh what! Grrrrrrr
ETA - Just spoke to Shane. Saturday is an uncapped day and there are plenty of spaces avaiable. Sunday is capped but if you want to go fill out your registration and then you go into a ballot that is pulled out on the 19th of April so plenty of spaces still up for grabs to go to this workshop.

Yes I misread an email from Jim - transposed two words that radically altered the meaning of the sentence - so everyone should make the effort to get there if they can - it will be a great weekend.
cheers,
Mike
