anyone knows where i can get a kit from, to send off?- id rather do blood testing that feather sexing since i dont want to excactly pull peanuts feathers out!

Yes Tracey. Courtney I have pricked the toe of heaps of birds to take a blood sample and it doesn't brother me at all. It didn't bother Matches at all which does help.

Have u got results back from the DNA test for matches yet Courtney?? aww she wont be so bad with her harness:0 just let her wear it for a bit on her own terms until she learn to love it:)

Courtney if she is anything like Shrekie you are a lucky person ;D Shrekie is lovely too and she is a girl, she has never bitten me and just loves to sit on my shoulder even still while she is in her aviary.
I will also add that I have owned another female alex named Rani and she was a nasty piece of goods ......... always was even as a baby. I got her at 6 weeks of age and finished handraising her but she always bit........right up to when I rehomed her at around 10 or 12 months of age (can't remember exactly how old she was now).

Well matches nips when i try put her harness on and bluffs when i try stop her from doing something but has never drawn blood. She is so great and hopefully is like shrekie. Shrekie is gorgeous!
