hi,
i am a beginer breeder (if that makes any sense) and i was wandering if shredded newspaper or baught nesting material is best for inside the nestbox and is it the male or female that makes the nest or do they not make a nest

my female is laying eggs but is only sitting on them and not making a nest, should she make a nest

Hey Ziki tiels dont make nests in the wild they use hollow logs and in aviaries we use nest boxes that have 50-75 mm of clean pine shavings in the bottom,Hens incubate during the late afternoon and nights and males incubate from morning to late afternoon but like i said get a good book to help!
