Almost good enough to make a grown man cry Frank. My white face hen has laid three eggs and they are both incubating them in turn It's been a real experience for me with the cockatiels as this is the first ones that i have, even though I have been breeding birds for years now it never fails to amaze me the difference in the species .......I just love it.

Hi Frank, Well I always say there is nothing normal about me!LOL I actually started breeding ducks and turkeys and chooks. That was actually after I had bred dogs and horses!LOL Actyually I find the tiels the most enjoyable. Easier to manage and not so trying on the patience. 21 days is much easier to handle than 11 months the horses took! Best of luck with breeding this season guys. I have 4 pairs so far with 24 eggs all up. I pair laid 9 and won't sit so those eggs are spread around with the 3 others. I am putting down 3 more pairs tomorrow so it should be babies everywhere here soon! Yippee!!!! Jo-Anne Jo-Anne

Don't you just love this time of year. ;D I checked my breeding boxes this morning and found my Turk parrot with an egg (I can't believe the size of the egg), Cinnamon cockatiel with 2 eggs and another budgie on 2 eggs. As well as cockatiel and red rump eggs due to hatch within the week and a quail sitting on 3 eggs.
