Hi All, don't know about you guys but this 40 C temps are killing me and the poor birds are so hot. I may be crazy but i have started making 'ice blocks' for the birds. I get bits of fruit or veg and freeze them into either ice blocks or cubes. The birds LOVE them and it seems to help keep them cool. I also squeezed some orange juice, with all the pulp and froze it too. The birds kind of 'lick' the blocks until it melts a bit then the chomp in! ;D I hope this is ok for them and i am putting ice cubes in their water as well to try to keep it cool. Anyone got any other ideas? Cheers, Sal

Hi Sal that sounds like a great idea as Orange Juice is a natural form of worming birds cheers Frank ;D
