From Robert and Hercules. Hope of help to some.I feed my beloved Hercules(Peachface Lovebird) , Avian Rice & Peanut Pellets.I have never seen this sold at Pet Shops.I can buy it either at the Queensland Lovebird Society or the Parrot Society of Australia. There must be other places where this can be bought interstate.I think there is also wheat in this mix.Hercules is especially fond of these pellets.I have been informed Lovebirds are especiiallyfond of rice.I also feed him Parrot Fruit and Nut Treat, and Tuti Frutti both originally from www.aristopet.com.au .A good seed mix that he likes is the Parrot GoumetBlend from the www.birdmunchies.com.au from Robert and Hercules. PS. I also feed him other foods too.

Hi Robert & Hercules, sounds like you might have found a winner with the pellets. I hope our Australian companies have got their act together with these pellets as some of the chemicals & additives in some of the overseas one are enough to make your wonder why we would feed our birds such poisons. I apologize to anyone that takes offense to this, but added artificial colors, flavors & preservatives are making many birds very sick. Just my thoughts only. Cheers Anna

You talking about my pet hate Anna, pellets, however from the description that Robert has given here I am impressed with these particular pellets. Could you give us a bit more information on this particular brand Robert.

From Robert and Hercules.I am only good for getting the information out ,and giving Hercules a good life.I rang up Terry White last night. He is on the committee of The Queensland Lovebird Society. Both He and his wife Judy are good people, and have a long experience in Aviculture. The The Avian Rice and Peanut Pellets are made not far from where Terry lives. He is able to send these pellets to anyone who would like them in Australia. His email is whiterosej@optusnet.com.au Phone no. is 07 3814 3791 .During the rest of this week and next week ,he will be at the Brisbane Exhibition. He is involved with the Lovebird display. For those who live near Brisbane this is your opportunity to meet him.For this week and next week, he might not be home until 7pm.Also he might not be at the show every day,so you might like to contact him before hand to make sure you can meet him at the EKKA.He also told me last night, that he will check his emails ,when he gets home.
