Hi All as a member of the Ancs I must admit i was a bit disheartened by the state of affairs at the society.Thru not the fault of some current committee members who have tried valiantly to pull together what was once a fantastic organisation that included the pioneers of everything Cockatiels with people like Mike and Robin Ashton.Lyn Ramscar,Mike Anderson and George and Maureen Blair who worked tiredlessly to keep this club successfull, I had to seriously contend with the thought of not renewing my membership which i held dearly to my heart due to the lack of response i was given with issues relating to the organisation.You might say that this is not the place to air my dirty linen and yes,you are correct!!However it gives me great pleasure to let you all know that i'm now seriously back in contention for renewing my membership for one reason and one reason only and the reason being that one of our great Moderators who has contributed greatly to this great forum has put her hand up in time of need along with others and is now the "SECRETARY" of the Australian National Cockatiel Society. Dear Jo-Anne Watts or as many here know you as Josiedownunda thankyou for putting faith into my beliefs and that this great Organisation is definately back on track. As we all know Jo-Anne is a keen Aviculturist and has the well being of Cockatiels first and foremost,I guarantee we will hear a lot of good come out of her appointment thanks again Jo
