Awnan is a mummies boy, My baby and I'm so very proud of Him. He has come a long way in his life. We purchased him from a bad pet store, I couldn't leave him there but I didn't leave without giving them a right serving!!!!! They wanted $90 for him and were selling him as a breeding male, which in his condition isn't possible. He was also abused, I'd say by the breeder. In the 3 years we have had him he hasn't really settled and really doesn't like men being near his cage. He flies away when I go near him but not to the extent of when Shane does. He is a real singer 
and loves to sing about his apple and celery sticks. He doesn't eat anything else but I keep on trying. Sometimes he is so scared of what we give him I just have to remove it. I am a sucker for a good looking bird because he makes me cry when I look into those big black eyes... I'm wrapped around his wing so to speak! Awnan is Gaelic meaning "timid one" and thats him to a tea.

This is in his Big whiz bang very expensive home, with only 2 doors (= only 2 exits and 2 padlocks
) and an open bottom so his feet don't get caught or hurt. With his deformed feet his nails get very long and were getting caught in the wire but not anymore
