I can see you. I will try taking some photos of these bozos flying. They've already smashed a nice vase as they're still clumsy as ever.

Thank you Tim, they are so beautiful! Maybe someday, if I'm living near you (forever moving!) I could clean your cages??, just for looks at the babies

I have a closed aviary and only a very small handful of people are allowed visits. Sorry but it's a policy I've had to learn the hard way.

Yeah sure, my last police check was in 2003. You need to have thorough checks when you work with kids too . In my whole life I've only ever seen 2 macaws, a scarlet and a blue and gold. Both were cage birds, I've never seen an african grey. My first gang gang was a wild pair that flew over my head in Melbourne. I'm kinda an "virgin" when it comes to rare and exotic birds. Not only that but I'd watch everything you did with them, just to learn. I don't blame you for a closed aviary. It's a sad time now when you can't trust a soul Even if you were H/R budgies I wouldn't touch, I'm too afraid I'd hurt them Hope nothing bad happens at your place anymore, I have set up security cams again, but not for people. My cat problems have started again. But I'm sure you'd trade my petty problems for yours. Keep safe Amanda

It's really all a matter of perspective. Loosing some of your flock to feral cats hurts just as much as having them stolen. We've both got the same problem, just different vermin are carrying out the acts.

We're in townsville and hopefully not for much longer. The cats up here aren't feral (their owners might be) I know where most of the SOB's live! Shane's in the (dare I say it) Army, so we move a lot. Coming from NSW where there is laws on cats it's hard to adjust to callous pet owners. Our wish list has Melbourne on it, so we might be lucky! Love melbourne, lived there for 6 months. It has a lot more to offer than Townsville, in my opinion only. I'm not game to H/R by myself, I'm worried I'll do something wrong so I leave it all to Mum and Dad bird. I know I'll never learn that way, but I've read books
